Clear liquids are fi: It is fine to drink clear liquids with your aligners in place. It's best to minimize sugary drinks, unless your rinse off your aligners shortly after.

Not smart: Clear aligners don"t work if they are not in your mouth, so removing them to drink liquids is wasting your orthodontic fee. That said, clear aligners trap liquids and hold them against the teeth. Any acidic or sugary liquid, mixed with your own mouth bacteria, and held against the teeth, can be harmful. Alcohol has high sugar content. Would be shame to have straight decalcified teeth.

Rinse after: to make sure the residue does not stay on your teeth and , of course, do so in moderation!
