Anything's possible: But saw palmetto is not known to increase testosterone. Generally, saw palmetto is used to decrease the conversion of testosterone to one of its metabolites called DHT. Elevated levels of DHT may contribute to enlargement of the prostate gland. Thus, many men use saw palmetto with the hopes that it will arrest the development of an enlarged prostate.
