Breast heaviness: Breast heaviness can occur due increased fluid retention. Heaviness can occur in conjunction w premenstrual syndrome, ovulation, your period ; pregnancy. Significant edema or swelling could cause a breast to become heavier. Breast cancer can present with subcutaneous edema.
