We don't know: Cell phones really haven't been around that long, and we do get exposed to electromagnetic frequencies from them. Some studies have shown dna damage in mice under the area where tiny cell phones were strapped to their bodies. My best advice: keep your cell phone away from your body when possible. Carry it in a bag, and talk on it using earbuds instead of holding it close to your head.

No: Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence. Nobody's showed that phones produce the kind of radiation that damages nucleic acids -- a "must" to be taken seriously as a cancer risk without being ingested. Every area has junk studies. A study on some baby mice in an obscure journal means nothing. If there was a risk, the NIH research piranhas would have found it by now.
