Yes, epigastric pain: The most common pain due to gallbladder disease is epigastric, usually associated also with RUQ pain. However, it can stand alone as the only symptom. Other causes of epigastric pain are ulcer disease, gastritis and gerd.

Not always : Traditionally the symptoms are felt in the right upper quadrant, under the ribs or at the bottom of your sternum . And traditionally radiate to the back. There may be nausea, bloating or even vomiting. The pain can feel like a sharp gas pain, like you need to belch or a sore muscle in your rt back. Still, with humans, nothing is absolute and often patients will feel left sided pain, etc
