Help! can avelox cause kidney stones?

Probably not: 0.16% of people who take Avelox (16/10000) develop a kidney stone. This is not an increased rate. However, the stones that are seen are found in those over age 40 and the male/female split is 50-65% female to 35-505 male. Typical stone formers are 9/1 male/female and typically late teens to early 30s. So, it it important? Not sure.
