Not necessarily: Salbutamol, though used as bronchodilator, could be abused and used as doping agent to possibly enhance athletic performance. Side effects are many but the most worrisome include myocardial ischemia though rare, hypotension, and hypokalemia-low potassium. Though all three are not fatal, in patients with underlying renal heart of irregular beats, could possibly be really dangerous. Take care!
