Probably not: It's probably just what you described... A boil. If it is a boil, it should resolve on its own with some warm compresses. If it doesn't get better in a week, it's time to have a health provider take a look. A boil should be on your skin on the fleshy part of your rump, not right on the opening of your anus. If it is on the opening of your anus, it might be a hemorrhoid. Don't be shy!
