Could atrial fibrillation be caused by valerian?

Probably not: Valerian, a naturally occurring medicinal herb, has mild sedative effects but no known cardiac electrical effects. It has been used in the treatment of anxiety and insomnia among other things, but is not known to be associated with atrial fibrillation.
