Can you tell me if there are any side effects with taking effexor (venlafaxine) and melatonin together?

Possibly: On a somewhat rare occasion melatonin will worsen depression. It could therefore theoretically worsen your depression in spite of the effexor (venlafaxine). There are no direct drug drug interactions between the two however. Best wishes.
