Fast heart rate: Tachycardia simply means fast heart rate. This could be normal/physiologic response. Abnormally elevated heart rates should be evaluated. This may be related to underlying rhythm abnormalities or signs of systemic diseases e.g. Thyroid dysfunction, etc.
