Nothing: Sensory input does not get processed so pt does not feel anything.

Hard to know: Some research has suggested that people in a 'light' coma might feel pain with painful stimuli, whereas others may not. Their subjective perceptions of how they feel are harder to know because survivors of coma are often medicated and memories are impaired, so they often do not recall the experience. Individual coma survivors might however report varied experiences.
