What?: Paraben is used mainly as preservatives and has nothing to do with hormones.

It's possible: The jury is still out on chemicals deemed endocrine disruptors. Parabens are in this category. They can act like estrogen. The studies that have been done so far were using very high doses in lab animals. The big question is do the tiny doses we get from cosmetics, lotion, shampoo etc add up? Hopefully we will have a better answer soon. There are more and more products that are paraben free now.
