Not a problem: Squint surgery is outside the eye interior and that portion of the eye anatomy is very resistant to infection or irritation. Most surgeries of this type have antibiotic coverage for a few days during the healing phase. But you do not need to hide or kennel your pet while child recovers and in fact the pet may provide a degree of comfort while she heals.

Perhaps: How long ago was the surgery?After the first week or so there is little risk of any infection.Allergy to indoor pets is always a concern for all of us, manifested by redness and itching of the eyes.
