Varies: If you are 6 weeks pregnant (4 weeks after conception) it is very early to see a heartbeat. The heart beat starts at 85-100 at that time and increases by about 10 beats per week. The normal range of heartbeat is 120-170. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to make the baby grow properly to prevent a miscarriage.
