Endo should know: Your endocrinologist should know to ask questions to see if your anxiety could be hormone-related, and with a good physical exam and appropriate tests, find out if that is happening. It's his or her job to order the appropriate tests. Good luck.

Anxiety: It is unclear while you are seeing an endocrinologist for anxiety and which hormonal imbalance causing the anxiety. He probably will order sex hormones and thyroid function. Ask him how your hormonal imbalance is related to your anxiety and the remedies.
