A member asked:

Can a person have both deuteranomaly and protanomaly?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: These are carried on the same gene for each defect, so if you have one it excludes the other. There are some who have complete blindness to color but they also have defects in the photoreceptor character and so their vision is markedly diminished.
