Please ask your OB: If you were my pt you would have been delivered today at the latest recent large study show the ideal time to deliver is 39-40 weeks, baby has the least chance going to the nicu. Your doc should have discussed a plan with you long before now, please call your doc tom. I do not let my any of my pts go past their due date, too many bad things can happen, it is easy and safe and effective to induce.
