Should be fine...: A pill doesn't change in a noticeable way over just 5 or 6 days, so there won't be any noticeable difference compared to a pill that is a week younger. That means the pill one has should be just as effective and have the same level of safety as a week ago. However, since it is past its expiration date, one can call her pharmacy for a refill as soon as possible.
