Unclear.: Magnesium is indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypomagnesemia; prevention and treatment of seizures in severe pre-eclampsia or eclampsia, pediatric acute nephritis; torsade de pointes; treatment of cardiac arrhythmias (vt/vf) caused by hypomagnesemia.
