Separate issue: Processing disorders like auditory, sensory , or visual involve difficulties with processing input into the nervous system. Sometimes only one sensory system or it may involve several. Ocd is classified as an anxiety disorder. It is possible to have ocd and a processing disorder but one is not the cause of the other and the treatment is usually very different.

It can...: Possibly represent ocd. When i read about slow processing speed on psycho-educational testing in an anxious kid, it often fits with my clinical diagnosis of ocd. There is a wide range of dosage of fluvoxamine; if you are tolerating it well, make sure you discuss your symptoms with your doctor and get on a dose that is more helpful to you. Good luck!
