A member asked:

I vomited and now it feels almost like there is a bone in my throat or like something is broke, pulled or out of place. how should i treat it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Consevatively: You may have irritated the back of your throat (pharynx) during the vomiting episode. Acid from your stomach can irritate and burn which can feel like a sticking sensation. Usually it all gets better in a few days. Try some liquid antacid to coat your throat. If your symptoms persist then see your doctor. If any fever, severe neck pain, trouble breathing or bleeding then care is needed asap.
