Go to ER now: First an er doc would ask him/herself "does this woman have an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy?" and the first test they would perform is a preg test. Ectopic refers to a pregnancy that is not in the uterus and is an emergency. If not pregnant then we can sift through the other possibilities for your pain: infection, ovarian cyst, normal pregnancy, etc. Assuming you are female, not male as indicated.
