Gluten allergy: What symptoms are you having that makes you feel you are allergic to gluten? Gluten allergy (e.g. Itchy lips/mouth/throat, nausea, hives) requires having allergic antibodies which are demonstrable by skin or blood tests. The other reaction to gluten causes celiac disease (e.g. Bloating, abdominal cramps, diarrhea) which is demonstrable by blood tests and intestinal biopsy. Avoid diet, consult md.
