The list is huge: "bowling balls, " my ICU attending used to say! if it was a penile problem, the list was "long." he was a character. If you want a list of possible reasons rather than a definitive reason and treatment than I have to wonder, are you an ICU attending? If not, know this, educated guessing is useless and only delays in getting real treatment. Off to a urologist with you.

Several things: You need to go see a urologist and get the testicle checked out. It could be torsion, tumor or even an infection.
