Go with her to Dr. : It might help to go with her on her next visit to the ob/gyn, family physician or internist. It may be a problem with the chosen method of birth control.... At any rate, this is not usually a problem. You neglected to mention if there was a significant difference in your physical size and hers... But, i'm pretty confident that a good exam and careful history will clear up the problem!
