Avoiding fat: Not sure if you are asking what foods to avoid in order to avoid fat or how to prevent getting fat. Foods are now labeled and you can have a choice between low fat and higher fat foods by just reading those. To avoid getting fat, you need to spend at least as many calories as you consume. If you consume high calorie foods (not necessarily fat) but don't exercise, this may lead to getting fat.
