No: Versed will cause no problems. Of critical importance is pre-procedure preparation. If you have not had surgery to completely remove the tumor, adequate treatment with Alpha blockers (ex. Phentolamone) followed by adequate beta receptor blockade (ex. Propranolol) is absolutely crucial prior to undergoing any procedure. If you have a procedure inadequately treated, severe hypertension can result.
