Probably, Yes: If you are using the "sunday start" method of starting your birth control pills (starting sunday after your period starts), you may even be beyond day 3 of your period when this occurs. It is important to start your pills before your period ends and you may want to consider using condoms for this first cycle in addition to usual safe sex practices.
