Pain under tongue: The underside of the tongue usually isn't injured while eating a normal meal. Since it's been two days, it's best to get it looked at to determine what type of problem you actually have. Most mouth sores caused by viruses are self limiting and go away on their own. However, it's always best to get things checked out.
