Yes....: An increased eosinophile count can however be noticed in allergic mediated asthma.

Yes: The lung mechanics of asthma have little relationship to the eosinophil count. High, low or normal asthma is a separate issue altogether. Some triggers to asthma events may raise the count, while other would not.
