Recurrent yeast: Sugar intake does not cause yeast infections. However, the most serious health problem that does predispose to yeast is diabetes. Talk to your doctor about being checked for diabetes, especially if you are at risk (overweight, family history of diabetes, etc). If not, then once weekly fluconazole (Diflucan) might be helpful.
