Many possibilities: This sensation could be related to acute or chronic infection, urethral stricture, bladder stone, history of pelvic surgery or instrumentation, trauma, or other issue. After history, physical exam and urinalysis post void urine volumes and cystoscopy should be able to identify oct worrisome etiologies for this symptom.
