Normal?: Testicles start off in the abdomen and drop down into the scrotum. The brain still 'sees' testicular pain as coming from the abdomen.

Normal: Testicles derive their blood supply and innervation from higher in the abdomen (where they initially develop while in utero) so referred pain to the abdomen and lower is normal with testicular trauma. Don't squeeze your testicles hard if it causes pain….It is your body's way of saying don't do that.
