It would be helpful: If you state specifically where they hurt. The swelling part is a bit of a concern as swelling in the morning is not as common as swelling say in the evening. If you were laying down for most of the night then usually swelling is limited in the morning. So does it feel swollen or is it actually swollen? Common morning type foot pain conditions include plantar fascitiis..

Possible neuropathy: "feeling" swollen, suggests to me that your feet are not actually swollen but rather your brain is telling you that they are. These sensations are surely real and should be taken seriously. The swollen (tight or numb) feeling possibly could be attributed to conditions such as poor circulation and or neuropathy. If when laying flat in bed, then maybe more of a circulation issue. See a podiatrist.

Feet hurt: The pain is one thing and the feeling of swelling is another. You need to see your podiatrist for an exam . Good luck.
