Latest info shows if u r allergic to nsaid, it is just that one nsaid and u shld be ok with others. why, then, do i also get mild hives from aspirin?

Nothing's perfect: You're kinda right in that true allergic reactions to nsaids may just be to one of the nsaids. But some have very similar structures and that increases the risk of cross-reactivity a bit. I recommend you play it safe and just avoid them all together.
