Allergist said the air did not reach the bottom of the lungs, how bad is this? i don't drink or smoke. i'm asthmatic.

Asthma: People with asthma, especially during an attack or times of the year where their asthma flares up, may "not get air to the bottom of their lungs." inhalers that help open up your airways will help the air to get there. Best to discuss with your allergist exactly what they meant and what stage of asthma you particularly have. Best wishes.

Asthma needs control: Abnormal lung function could indicate that your asthma is not under good control. Lung function testing is very effort-dependent, and abnormal results could be due to less than a full inspiration. The severity depends on the complete findings on lung function, as well as symptoms.
