GET SEEN: Excessive vaginal bleeding/with 'clots' bad enough to cause anemia/weakness is serious. First you need an exam consisting of pap smear to rule out cervical cancer, then a pelvic ultrasound and endometrial (uterus) biopsy to rule out uterus abnormalities. If all these tests are normal then you are a candidate for an endometrial (uterus) ablation to stop your periods! hope you get better soon!

Heavy periods: You need to see your gynecologist for exam and may be an ultrasound exam of your pelvis to rule out uterine fibroids and other causes of excessive bleeding, your lightheadedness and nausea are related to your excessive bleeding which is also causing your iron deficiency anemia and unless you correct the underlying cause of your excessive blood loss you will keep having these symptoms, see your gynmd.
