Increased symptoms: Spondylolisthesis is a very common condition. Women carry pregnancies with this condition and often are unaware that they even have the condition. Because the condition often suggests an underlying instability between the subluxed vertebral bodies, the pregnant patient is more susceptible to back and leg pain. This can be mitigated by back strengthening and lying down when the pain is most severe.
