Can 60 mg of cymbalta (duloxetine) "possibly" cause anxiety and is 30 sometimes effective/is a cymbalta (duloxetine) to luvox switch difficult for a dr.

Treats, rather......: Cymbalta (duloxetine) is used for treating anxiety but has side effects like dizziness that may make some patients more uncomfortable. Even though most patients need up to 60 mg, some patients do well on 30mg. A Cymbalta (duloxetine) to Luvox switch is possible but there may be a worsening of symptoms for which the original medication was prescribed during the switch depending on duration/severity of medication/illness.

Yes, yes, no: While it is possible that Cymbalta (duloxetine) in either dosage while usually an antidepression medication, can relieve symptoms of anxiety. A doctor can usually figure out a technique to switch from one medication to another. The important thing , however is that these are questions which you should be speaking with the doctor who is treating you. There are probably underlying psychological concerns
