A member asked:

Would cns vasculitis show up on eeg?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need clarification: CNS vasculitis is an inflammatory condition affecting the brain and is diagnosed by tests of structure (mri, arteriogram...) and less of function (eeg, evoked potentials. However, there are frequent eeg abnormalities depending upon the presentation of the vasculitis such as whether the patient has had a seizure. I hope this helps. Take care.
