Yes. Pseudocysts can: Recur. Even without recurrence of pseudocysts one can have pain from chronic pancreatitis. Even with normal lipase, etc. You may be one of the unlucky patients who have chronic pancreatitis and need to be on pancreatic enzymes. I hope you are seeing a good GI doc. Good luck.
