Sounds like BV: Bacterial vaginosis. An overgrowth of normal vaginal flora. If you've seen your gyn and it's not an std, this is the most likely. It's usually treated with flagyl, but can be hard to get rid of. Unless you're looking for trouble, best to not have unprotected sex.

Bacterial vaginosis: The most common reason for a bad odor from the vagina is going to be from an infection from bacteria. Sometimes it's an overgrowth of normal bacteria (gardeneralla) and sometimes it can be trichomonas. The smell comes from the elevation of the vagina's ph. Sometimes doctors' testing doesn't reveal a positive when there is an infection. Consider metrogel, or probiotics, or return visit to doctor.
