A member asked:

Why do carrots give me hiccups?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Andrea Brand answered

Swallowing air?: Can't be sure, but I suspect the hiccups may result from the way you are eating the carrots, rather than the carrots themselves. Could you be swallowing air and/or eating too fast?
