A member asked:

What could be a bump behind the ear on your bone be from?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If it is beneath..: The skin and can be moved around it is most likely a cyst or a lymph node. Congenital cysts are often seen in this area in babies and young children but can appear later in life also. Lymph nodes in this area usually enlarge in response to a scalp lesion above or behind the ear, such as dandruff or a bug bite or scratch.
