Yes some times: Acth producing pituitary tumors that caused cushings disease ( can also cause thyroid , proaction , gh problems ) are most of the time due to benign tumors . If recurs treated with radiation to pituitary or chemo like mifepristine (ru486 ) good it is 3 yrs , don't worry about recurrence go for follow up with your doctor will advise you more.
