Please call your OB: Now to make sure u are ok, if you were my pt at age 42 and 40 weeks pregnant i would induce you, a recent large study shows the ideal time for the baby to be delivered is 39-40 weeks, in my hands and most ob's hands induction is safe easy and effective, once you go past your due date too many bad things could happen to both you and baby and baby could have already been safely delivered !
