A member asked:

Hi i have i think it is a skin tag on my leg. it started out small then got bigger and now it's the size of a dime. do you think i should be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not particularly: Fleshy polyps with a narrow stalk that dangle from various parts of the body - underarm, neck, but not usually back - are usually just what they look like - skin tags or acrochordons. These are easily removed by tightly tying a string around the base and letting the tag fall of on its own. It is also possible to see your doc who can remove these by sharp instrument or by freezing.
