Had a cyst removed from head today an couple of stiches and dr did not tell me what to take for pain and now head is hurting, what's best for pain?

Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen: If you only had couple of superficial stitches, the pain can not be too bad.Most of patients do not require anything for pain. But if it is hurting you may take over the counter pain meds like tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen as long as you are not allergic to these and there is no other contraindications . If still hurts see you doctors as it may be related to head injury rather than stitches.
