Why would i be prescribed antibiotics for abdominal pain when the cbc showed normal?

Ask the prescribing: Doctor as to what is being treated. A normal CBC is not specifically meaningful. Clinical findings, doctor's finding, diagnosis ; reason for the medication is meaningful. Antibiotics should only be used to treat an infection ; would not solely be prescribed for pain. Ask your doctor.
